Dieting isn't ever going to be enough if you are searching for permanent weight loss. It will certainly be effective if you only want to see a short term transformation and result, but not if you want to lose weight more permanently. If you want to achieve this goal, you need to focus your attention on 3 absolutely essential things.

1) Ensure you have the right mind-set for long term weight loss

Most dieters out there won't have the right mind-set to lose weight permanently. It really is as simple as that.

Your subconscious mind-set is far more important than you know. In fact, it may well be the most important foundation block of all. Forget everything about nutrition, exercise, dieting and the like...if you don't have the right mind-set from the start, nothing will fall into place for long.

People also underestimate the importance of detoxing for weight loss. Simply put, its crucial to detox at least 2 or 3 times a year to maintain your health and shape.

Well, toxicity is something that we are constantly exposed to from various sources. Toxins are stored in our fat and one of the primary functions of this fat is to protect our organs and nervous system. The more toxic we are, the more essential this protection is.

As you start losing weight your fat cells get smaller. If you lose fat but not toxins then you begin to become more toxic, with a higher concentration of toxicity in your shrinking fat cells. This can be dangerous for the protection of your organs and nervous system...so what does the body do about it?

It goes into fat storage and production mode. It does this to protect your organs and nervous system. This higher concentration of toxicity can be dangerous and so more fat is needed as protection. The result of this....rebound weight gain.

The solution? Detoxing on a regular basis - at least 2 or 3 times per year. This will enable you to lose weight and keep it off for good, which is what we all want, right?

3) Getting support and guidance is essential

If you are looking to lose weight permanently then support is a crucial element of your success.

Negative people and influences have no place on your weight loss journey. Instead, its essential for you to ensure that you are only surrounded by people who are going to have a positive impact on your life and your attempts at achieving that permanent weight loss success.

In fact, if you can get a professional coach on board in some capacity as a guiding and supporting presence this is going to give you the best position chance of achieving a result over the long term.
