There Has Been Some Talk About This Lemonade Diet That Has Been Going Around.

By Ninnette Bernauer

This is not a lemonade diet at all because if all she did was drink lemonade she would not be doing herself any favors. The actual diet is called the master cleanse diet and she used it to lose 20 pounds, even though that was not her complete intention.

I'm sure you are thinking why would Beyonce need to lose 20 pounds? You have to understand that when these celebrities are not in the spotlight, out on tour, working on a movie, or on television constantly, they are human.

The actual name for the diet is the master cleanse detox system, and it's a wonderful way to "start clean" if you will in regards to your digestive tract and internal waste that has been hanging around for years.

Beyonce followed this diet during the shooting of the 2006 movie Dreamgirls. She claimed that she had lost an enormous amount of weight (around 22lb) by following this lemonade diet for 14 days. She was the one who popularized this diet even though it had already existed since decades. However Beyonce was not the only one who lost weight on account of this diet.

These build up over time and get stuck to the colon walls and really cause health complications in the long run. This detox basically flushes you out and kickstarts your fat burning capabilities allowing you to lose more weight and use over and over again when you need it.

However if you think that female celebrities are the only ones to follow the Beyonce Lemonade diet, you are wrong.Jared Leto said that he lost the extra weight which he had gained for playing 'Mark David Chapman' with the help of the Beyonce Lemonade Diet.

However though the diet is named after Beyonce, she said in an interview saying that "I wouldn't recommend it if someone wasn't doing a movie ... there are other ways to lose weight."Thus the Beyonce Lemonade diet though is a favorite of the stars, yet should be followed with some precautions.

Stanley Burroughs, the creator of the Master Cleanse diet, was an alternative health promoter who created the diet as a cure for stomach ulcers.

He then started promoting it as a body cleansing diet to help rid the body of toxins which expose the body to various ailments and diseases. In recent times, the diet is used as a weight loss diet with an added benefit of detoxifying the body. Talk of reversing the roles as a marketing strategy!

Although it was not meant to be a weight loss diet, it can still be used to effectively shed weight. However, you should change your lifestyle. Stop intake of alcohol, smoking, coffee, and sugar. Reduce intake of meat, you should substitute this with vegetables, fruits, natural oils from avocado, olives, and hemp. Use herbal drinks which stimulate production of energy like chamomile tea.
